Saginaw Does Well At The Ranger Invitational

Saginaw traveled across the district to compete in the Ranger Invitational at Chisholm Trail High School on March 22, 2018.

Senior, Amani Lawrence won the 100m hurdles, while Simone Barren won the high jump. Although the girls' team did not win the relays, all three times were significantly faster than previous meet times. The young ladies shaved 8 seconds off of their seasonal best in the 4x400m relay. They placed 3rd in the 4x100m with a seasonal best of, 50.71.  Overall finish was 4th out of 7 teams with a score of 68 points.

The varsity boys finished 7th out of 8 teams. The 4x400 finished 2nd and broke school record with a, 50.05. It was Senior, Micah Johnson that brought his team from last to second in the 4x400 with a 49.00 split on his anchor leg. He also took 1st in the 400m.
